So I used the cas.fulleditmode to change her appearance and then moved her to my main household. She and all the other vampires I've created (both cas and in game) are bugged so you can't change their facial details etc. I bought the Vampire pack (I only have the base game, bonus content, the free holiday-thingy and now this one), and turned a girl from another household into a vampire. one of my households bugged the same way.
If someone experiences this, at least for me it doesn't affect teens, so if nothing else, aging a chid to teen 'fixes' it.
